Welcome
Chairman’s Message
The Business Council of Mongolia (BCM) is a politically unaffiliated, membership-based association of leading business and investors, striving to deliver value for the public, the members, and the employees by advocating for economic freedom and property rights provided by the Constitution of Mongolia, and protecting and promoting common lawful interests of members for a fair, stable, and internationally competitive business environment. For fifteen years we have built the BCM from humble origins and have continued to grow during turbulent times. Currently, the BCM represents over 260 businesses and seeks to be a bridge for domestic and international investment. We are the only business chamber in Mongolia with a highly diverse international membership. This covers global companies to embassies, international financial institutions (such as the IFI, ADB, World Bank, and EBRD), NGOs, and international organizations.
The BCM is proud to serve the interests of its members and has expanded its sphere of activities based on cooperation with other business associations. We realize the importance of collaboration, as it improves our collective ability to get better outcomes on critical matters of strategy, law and administration. We have been leading initiatives with other business associations on key matters impacting all Mongolian businesses and the economy. In 2018, BCM organized 30 major events including regular monthly meetings, business and factory tours, knowledge sharing sessions, and special events that were attended by more than 3000 member organizations’ professionals and delegates. In addition, another 22 international forums, conferences, and networking events were co-organized by the BCM, where BCM members were offered special discounts and services.
Business is serious and making profits is essential for long term prosperity. The opportunity for our members to network with all the organizations build understanding. The BCM is always proud to serve the interests of its members and has re-organized working groups to more effectively advocate your needs. Together, we will continue engaging the Government of Mongolia and the Parliament through developing economic and sector-specific policy recommendations based on your concerns and needs, and other issues raised by our members.
We seek to deliver value for you and your organization, to be an information platform, to develop and to promote policy recommendations by engaging policy makers, and to provide networking and other services that support your business in Mongolia.
