AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF MONGOLIA

The American University of Mongolia (AUM) was established to bring the best that western education has to offer to students in Mongolia. AUM began as the joint vision of U.S. and Mongolian businessmen, to address a critical need in Mongolian undergraduate education. The university was approved by the Mongolia State Registration Office as a non-profit, non-governmental organization on January 4, 2012 and licensed to operate as a university by the Ministry of Education and Science on July 26, 2012. AUM provides a student-centered, liberal arts education modeled after the successful universities in America, in conformance with relevant U.S. accreditation agencies’ standards.
