BATBAATAR BADAN
Sharyn Gol JSC - CEO
Mr. B. Batbaatar was appointed as Treasurer of Executive Committee of the Business Council of Mongolia on 16 January 2019. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Sharyn Gol JSC. He was appointed to current position in 2013.
Previously, he worked as analyst and senior analyst in Cambridge Associates, privately held investment firm based in the United States from 2001-2005. He was an economist in working group of Millennium Challenge Account Mongolia (MCA-M) and developed economic model and conducted feasibility study of projects. Beginning from 2008 he served as General Diretcor of CBM LLC and was appointed as Country Representative of Firebird Management in Mongolia.
Mr. B. Batbaatar holds Bachelor degree from James Madison University and MBA from the George Washington.
TATSUYA HAMADA
Mobicom Corporation - Chairman & CEO
Mr. Tatsuya Hamada was appointed as Executive Committee member of the Business Council of Mongolia and Chair of Growth and innovation Working Group.
Since started his career with KDDI Corporation in Japan over 20 years ago, which is Tokyo based Japanese multi-national telecommunication company, Mr. Hamada has served in number of senior executive roles in KDDI Corporation, as a Director, General Manager of Global ICT Business management and Director, General Manager of Global Sales & Marketing.
In the past, he led KDDI’s businesses in European countries, London U.K., Düsseldorf, Frankfurt GERMANY and Brussels BELGIUM, where he spent over 7 years.



D. JARGALSAIKHAN
Gund Investments, TUS Solution
Mr. D. Jargalsaikhan was appointed as member of the Executive Committee of the Business Council of Mongolia and Chair of Economic Freedom ad Competitiveness Working Group on 16 January 2019.
Mr. D. Jargalsaikhan is the Chairman of Gund Investment LLC and the Chief Executive Officer of TUS Solution LLC. Gund Investment LLC is engaged in organization healthcare solutions service, mining, real estate management and financial services; and domestication of disruptive technology businesses. TUS Solution LLC offers tailorable unified system solution that allows creating real time synchronized data for business management and digital transformation.
Before entering the private sector in 2005, Jargalsaikhan held senior leadership positions in the Mineral Resource Authority, the Ministry of Heavy Industry, and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
He is a Honorary Professor of MUST, Chairman of Young Researchers Support Foundation, Member of Asia Business Council; and President of Society of Mineral Economics and Management of Mongolia.


SOLONGOO BAYARSAIKHAN
Avinex Partners LLP - Founder and Managing Partner
Solongoo Bayarsaikhan was appointed as member of the Executive Committee of the Business Council of Mongolia and Chair of Tax, Legal, and Ethics Working Group on 16 January 2019.
Solongoo Bayarsaikhan is a co-founding partner of Avinex Partners LLP. Her practice area includes general corporate and commercial law with a specific focus on banking and finance, mining, natural resources and regulatory matters. She has advised clients as transactional and local counsel in respect of various high profile, cross-border financing and equity transactions.
Prior to co-founding the firm, Solongoo worked for Ulaanbaatar office of an international law firm and a major Mongolian company. She is a member of the Mongolian Bar Association and teaches continuing legal education courses for qualified Mongolian lawyers. Solongoo is also qualified to practice law in the State of New York and England and Wales. She is the co-chair of the Legislative Working Group of the Business Council of Mongolia.
Solongoo is named as the 'next generation lawyer' in Legal500's 2018 edition.
ARMANDO TORRES
Oyu Tolgoi LLC - CEO
Mr. Armando Torres was appointed as member of the Executive Committee of the Business Council of Mongolia and Chair of Resources and Environment Working Group on 16 January 2019.
Armando Torres was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Oyu Tolgoi in May 2017. Since 2016, Armando has been a member of the Oyu Tolgoi Board and served as a Rio Tinto Managing Director – Oyu Tolgoi between September 2016 and May 2017. Armando started his career in 1990 as a process engineer and was subsequently promoted to management positions at Alcoa in Latin America, Europe, and Western Australia. In 2011, he moved to Rio Tinto, as Chief Operations Officer - Bauxite Alumina, responsible for the Global operations, Australia and Canada. In March 2016, he was appointed as head of operations and Transformation Leader of the Alumina Segment in Rio Tinto Aluminium. He completed his Master Degree in Process Development and Optimization in 2000.
