It is our pleasure to announce that the Business Council of Mongolia, in partnership with the China International Council for the Promotion of Multinational Corporations (CICMPC), is organizing a Joint “Investment Meeting” in Beijing, People's Republic of China, on 25 May 2023.

In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding on Mutual Collaboration signed between the BCM and the CICMPC in 2019, the Business Council of Mongolia is honored and pleased to host the Joint "Investment Meeting" among Mongolian and Chinese corporations that are members of both chambers.

The Business Council of Mongolia organized its "Knowledge Sharing Session" on 23 March 2023 at the Shangri-La Office on the topic of "Innovation in HR (Human Resources)" by Ms. Uyanga Zalaa-Uul. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Nito (NitoTech LLC) talked about the current trends in HR technologies and innovations globally. Such as how AI (Artificial Intelligence) is used in HR management, how VR/AR are being used in HR, the use of wearables in HR, and the importance of building an innovative team. Ms. Uyanga also discussed the upcoming "Good Workplace Awards 2023". The BCM would like to express gratitude towards Ms. Uyanga for the great and insightful presentation. Thank you for all the attendees for their active participation.

ULAANBAATAR, Mongolia - The Business Council of Mongolia (BCM) held its annual Board of Directors Meeting on 28 February 2023. The meeting was held in person and remotely. The Board of Directors discussed and approved following appointments:

• The 2022 Annual Report and Financial Report was presented
• The 2023 Programs and Budget were approved
• The Draft Law on the Chamber of Commerce and Industry was discussed

Managing Director Bayarsaikhan JAVKHLAN presented the 2022 Annual Report, Financial Report, and 2023 Programs and Budget. The board members discussed the progress made by BCM in the past year and deliberated over the organization's budget for the coming year.

The BCM Managing Director presented the 2022 Annual Report and Financial Report, highlighting the organization's accomplishments and challenges over the past year. The 2023 Programs and Budget were also presented at this meeting, which was unanimously approved by the board. The programs and budget aim to provide the necessary resources to support the BCM's continued growth and success.

In addition to the discussion on the annual report and budget, the Board of Directors also discussed the Draft Law on the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The board members had a discussion on the proposed law and shared their opinions on how it would impact the BCM and the wider business community.

The annual meeting was a resounding success, with the BCM Board of Directors providing the necessary guidance and direction for the organization's future growth and success. The BCM remains committed to promoting the interests of the Mongolian business community and looks forward to a fruitful year ahead.
